ABOUT ME
I build systems
people depend on.
I'm Testament Onafowokan, an AI engineer focused on building agentic systems that are reliable in production, not just impressive in demos. I design and ship multi-agent architectures, retrieval pipelines, and multimodal assistants with strong observability, evaluation loops, and resilient backend foundations.
I've spent five years in the productivity space — first as a productivity and academic coach, then building Kairos, my community of productivity-minded people, then fusing that craft with AI engineering. Today I build AI systems in production for companies across different environments, including healthcare, and I enjoy solving hard problems in model routing, retrieval quality, and workflow orchestration — then hardening those solutions for real-world latency, cost, and reliability constraints.
I also share practical lessons on AI engineering and productivity through YouTube and Substack.

HOW THE WORK GETS SHAPED
The hardest AI question is rarely
“Can we build this?”
It's “Should we?” Building AI in production — especially in healthcare — forces questions that go far beyond engineering. Those questions shape everything I build.
THE QUESTIONS THAT SHAPE THE WORK
- ✦Should AI do this at all?
- ✦Where should human judgment remain?
- ✦How do we build systems people can trust?
- ✦How do we improve work without removing what makes us human?

THE POINT OF ALL THIS
“The goal has never been to replace people. It's to redesign work so humans can do more human things.”
Less time on repetitive tasks. More time on creativity, judgment, leadership, and relationships. That belief runs through everything I build — from the agents to the coaching to the workshops.
